I tried this on my lips and it is the best lip ointment I have ever used.  It melts on your lips without the harshness that usually is required with chapsticks.  It feels like your lips are soft and liquid for an hour or so after.  

I can just guess how soothing it would be for someone with a tough cold and sore nose.
